Biography

Samuel Labrecque is a logistician with a background in humanitarian and pharmaceutical logistics and a focus on statistical and stochastic planning methods. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Supply Chain Management from Université Laval in Québec, Canada, and a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien). Following professional experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical and food industries, he joined the Department of Neurology at the Medical University of Innsbruck, where he spent four years coordinating clinical research and ultimately leading the research coordination team. Samuel is now a PhD student at the EpiCenter, where he also provides statistical advice to medical students, postgraduate researchers, and clinicians. His research interests include neurodegenerative diseases, medical statistics and time series analysis, clinical epidemiology, and genetic genealogy.
