Pallavi Saxena is an oral pathologist and microbiologist specializing in fungal resistance and oral microbiology. Previously, she worked with the Oral Sciences Research Group at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School, focusing on bioinformatics research on Candida albicans biofilms and aneuploidy changes in clinical isolates. Pallavi holds an MSc in Oral Sciences from the University of Glasgow, UK and an MDS in Oral Pathology & Microbiology from KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, INDIA. In addition to her research, she served as a Senior Resident Doctor at Sardar Patel Medical College, INDIA managing maxillofacial trauma cases and treating antifungal-resistant infections during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also held the role of Tobacco Cessation Specialist and Centre In-Charge at the Bhopal Runners Tobacco Cessation Center, where they developed cessation policies, conducted camps, and raised awareness on tobacco use in underserved communities.
