Biography
Josef Fritz is a postdoctoral researcher and biostatistician. His research focuses on the relationship between metabolic disorders and chronic diseases, particularly cardiovascular disease, cancer and kidney disease, with additional expertise in causal inference and mediation analysis. Dr. Fritz has held research positions in the USA and Sweden, and has received awards such as the Austrian Society of Nephrology Prize (2022) and OeGEPI Best Paper Award (2020).
